I’ve been an “enthusiastic amateur” of health and fitness for as long as I can remember.
I’ve played a lot of sport, trained in different ways over the years, tried to eat well, stay active, and look after myself because I wanted to feel capable, energised, useful and healthy for my family.
Like most people, life has changed around that. Work, family, responsibility, injuries, time pressure. What used to be simple gets crowded. What used to be instinctive needs structure.
I realised that while there is no shortage of advice about health and wellness, there was a shortage of frameworks I actually wanted to use long-term.
So, I built one for myself.
I wasn’t looking for a transformation, a reset, or a challenge to survive.
I wanted something I could return to, over and over again.
Something that didn’t rely on motivation, didn’t require obsession, and worked whether life was calm or chaotic.
I wanted a simple framework that reminded me to keep moving, drink enough water, eat sensibly, keep learning, help others, and recover properly, without pretending I could do everything perfectly, all the time.
That became 28 Life.
This isn’t a product I designed for other people and don’t follow myself.
28 Life is the framework I use to keep myself grounded in the basics.
Some days are strong.
Some days are messy.
The point is that I don’t stop.
I finish a cycle, I start another, and I stay in the game.
I built something that worked for me, and realised others might be looking for the same thing: a calm, repeatable way to look after themselves without turning it into a second job.
28 Life is simply an invitation to do the basics, consistently, and see where that takes you.
One cycle at a time.
